How we approach it
Most traffic is on a phone, and most sites are still designed on a large monitor and checked on a phone at the end. The result is text that shrinks instead of reflowing, tap targets too small to hit and a page that scrolls sideways.
We design mobile-first and let the layout earn its extra columns as the screen grows, rather than squeezing a desktop grid down.
Then we test it — at real breakpoints, on real devices, with touch instead of a mouse. Hover-only interactions get a path that works without hover, because a phone has none.
